Finger Lakes Barn Quilt Trail

About the Trail

There’s no better way to experience the beauty of the Finger Lakes Region than by hitting the road and taking in the scenic vistas. We invite you to spend your day exploring the Finger Lakes Barn Quilt Trail!

Launched in 2018, the Finger Lakes Barn Quilt Trail is a collection of barn quilts painted on barns and buildings displayed throughout the Finger Lakes. Along the trail, you can enjoy farm markets, restaurants, natural areas, and back road adventures! While you’re here, be sure to visit some of the other attractions in the county.

We invite you to discover these roadside gems—colorful painted and crafted blocks of quilt designs mounted on buildings—and enjoy the beauty of the Finger Lakes.

The Finger Lakes Barn Quilt Trail is now hosted by the Bristol Hills Historical Society. Please visit this page on the Society’s website for the latest update of the trail directory, a tutorial on making a barn quilt block, and a link to the trail’s Facebook page, where fans and followers discuss barn quilts and local sights and history.
